Fun fact: Zionist Jews by far look down on Holocaust victims and survivors, in a “this wouldn’t have happened to me” kind of way. It’s part of the Zionist narrative that diaspora Jews are weak and pathetic while Jews in Eretz Israel are strong. The people who founded Israel also by far had nothing to do with the Holocaust, either due to having arrived before WWII or being from the Middle East (half of Israeli Jews are of Middle Eastern descent).
