I’ve been using an mp3 style walkman for awhile. There’s something about dedicated single purpose electronics that is so comfy. They also just work as the software is always barebones simple.

I either buy CDs (and rip 'em to .FLAC files) or just purchase the files from the artist’s own Bandcamp, because I hate subscription services. More money to the people making the music as well.

My wife and I use Spotify premium. The ability to play music thoughout the house is so nice, plus I use the Spotify DJ almost exclusively to give me music cuz it’s less time than managing my own playlists.

I don’t think I’ve used the lyrics feature once. If I want prices I just google

If ya don’t want ads, get Spotify premium, it’s really not that expensive for what you get

I use NewPipe and get most music from YouTube, on my phone. No ads, and there is hardly any buffering between videos on playlists which is pretty cool. Solid background player so you can turn the screen off or be using other apps and the music won’t be affected.

Agreed, NewPipe is awesome. The only thing I wish it had was an actual feed of my subscriptions, not just a list of my subscribed channels that I have to manually refresh to get their new videos.
