Their options were: peace, economic, military? Tf does that even mean?
I think you misunderstand. It looks like three questions (rather than three answers to one), “Do you support diplomatic solutions to achieve peace?”, “Do you support economic efforts to achieve peace?”, and “Do you support military efforts to achieve peace?”, with yes/no presumable for each.
Diplomatic solutions meaning talking it out, treaties, etc.
Economic efforts would mean investing in industry, possible stuff about economic sanctions, etc. I think
Military support meaning defending either from an invasion from the other presumably.
Sounds like Victory Conditions from Civilization to me!
Ah, the old samurai spirit, right? So much warmongering.
The article also cites support for military support, which is lower.
