They can get gas from Russia
In fact, I don’t see where else they could get it at this point. Export capacity from the US is limited, and their producers can’t fill such a huge gap. The real question is why Russia would sell gas to them right now instead of their partners in BRICS.
The best possible outcome is for Europe to return to being an agrarian economy. The world doesn’t need European manufacturing, and Europe might become peaceful or at least less of a threat to the rest of the world.

Europe is not a threat to the world. The US, and in smaller part the UK and France probably are. I do not think anybody needs to worry about Denmark or Germany invading their country. On the contrary, the continuous threats to European security are pushing for European rearmament and military unification.
Germany is the 3rd largest weapons provider to Israel, and Merz did say that Israel is doing their dirty work. Germany is clearly a threat. I don’t know enough to pass a judgement on Denmark but I don’t expect it to be significantly better.
Iran, china, India does the same with weapon exports. If you are industrialized you sell weapons.
India does supply Israel but Iran and China? Germany also stood by Israel as it is committing a genocide, and so did India, but Iran and China?
Iran and china supply Russia against Ukraine. Is the genocide done by Israel bad but the one done by Russia fine?

WWIII will be caused by hoarding of energy. Green solutions are fantastic, but they have been kicked down the road for too long.
Seems like mostly a problem for the west right now.
