Weird, the only people in the world who really wanted the negotiations canceled and had nothing to gain from them were the Israelis. Ah well. Must be a coincidence.

But he’s sending his best son and a real estate mogul to demand Iran capitulate on all his points. Why do they think he’s not serious?

The two people Iran has expressly said aren’t welcome at the table.

They invited JD of all people (who knows why) and then he took Kushner and Wiktoff with him and negotiations never even begun.

Iran isn’t going to negotiate anything while the US is acting in bad faith.

Several commenters here seem to be reading the headline backwards.

US Not ‘Truly Serious About Diplomacy’

    Trump Cancels Kushner-Witkoff Trip

It’s Iran accusing the US of not being serious, not the other way around.

Europe, Russia, and China should get together and negotiate with Iran. If they propose a deal and Iran accepts, it will pressure Trump to accept. The problem with Trump is that he might be demanding too much. That’s the reason Iran says the US is not serious.

Europeans are doing the opposite. Refusing to directly talk to Iran and start imposing additional sanctions limiting Iran capacity to defend itself against a country total collapse
