A) That’s not a Hyundai. It’s AI bullshit.

B) That’s not even the FORM FACTOR for a Palisade.

I know, right? The funny bit is, AI can’t generate spokes on a car wheel any better than it can human fingers. LOL.

Lmfao! Idk how they thought they’d slide that ad past. Fuckin, don’t know dicks from dildos about advertising…

Yeah I keep seeing videos about new small trucks from Toyota and Subaru. Was disappointed when I realized the info was false.

Reminds me of those YT military thumbnails that typically feature the most idiotic sci-fi art to describe some real world thing.

As near as I can tell, it’s just clickbait. It will pop up at the bottom of legitimate news articles, just clustered with the rest of the clickbait bullshit.

Making the click so you don’t have to…

      This ad:

Brings me to this bullshit site. Not clicking any of these…

I like how it just jumps into facts about why it’s good for seniors. As if to say “you made it this far, you must be a senior we can scam”

Some of the ads actually DO reference seniors. Not that I’ve ever seen a senior discount on a new car sale…

I should say too, although Hyundai seems to be popping up a lot today, I’ve seen similar fake Jeep and Toyota ads too.

My mind is blown! So if I have it right, they pay to put up ads to some useless bullshit site on theirs so that they can have copious amounts of additional ads for unsuspecting visitors to view?

I feel like I’m getting something wrong here.

It’s true! The links on the bullshit page appear to be affiliate links to the manufacturer.

Like what? I don’t even have chrome on my phone. If forced to not use the mighty firefox (or Firefox focus) at least use a chrome variant. They have ad block. Or better still, do adblock phone wide.

I enjoy Firefox, but some of the lemmy modding I do requires Chrome to properly read articles. Firefox doesn’t have an equivalent for Simplified View.
