Never pre-order anything but that goes double for Assassin’s Creed
I hope they’ve gone further towards the old combat style and stealth gameplay. I never liked the new one of just being an ‘assassin’ by openly running through a fort and stabbing each enemy with spastic animations until their arbitrary and chonky healthbar depletes.
Well damn. Looks like it’s time to get back into AC. Will hold off for reviews of course.

This didn’t even look like an Assassin’s Creed game when I first saw the trailer during the showcase today. That’s a good thing, btw. This almost feels like an actual fresh approach.
They had some actually fun mechanics in Odyssey and then they drove every single one of them off a cliff in Valhalla. We’ll see what they do, I suppose
