So weird to see a PlayStation IP on Switch. I wonder if LEGO pushed for that since LEGO games have a big audience on Switch (as far as I can tell based on very limited research and big assumptions.) But I really have to wonder-- If the goal is broadening the audience, why on earth is this game on Switch but not PS4? I’m not mad or anything, but that’s extremely weird. Maybe it’s an attempt to sell more PS5s?

It might be cross-platform release, and the marketing department is pushing the Switch version to capture an audience that can very likely purchase a new PS5 console and game bundle during the upcoming holiday sales, because they have already captured the PS5 audience and see no need to spend money marketing the game on an already captured audience.

I’m pretty excited about this. Loved Horizon Zero Dawn, but still haven’t played Horizon Forbidden West. My spouse and I are trying out Lego games and enjoying the Harry Potter ones thus far, so figure this would be a great way to introduce my spouse to Horizon in a fun way (while secretly hoping they will try out the source games one day)
