It goes beyond chicken.

Two other industries that are gonna take a big hit: trucking and oil. Seriously. Both industries have a large (estimated) number of undocumented individuals working within them. It’s gonna be hard to “drill baby drill” when you just deported half the drill crews…

Chicken products in general will likely increase in price. I used to live in an area that was predominantly chicken farms and had several Tyson processesing plants. I’d wager at least 60% of the workers both on the farms and in the plants were undocumented.

I feel like New Mexico would rather secede and join Mexico before they bow to the administration.

Yea peertube is rough… Mostly in part due to, in my opinion at least, people wanting to make use of YouTube’s ad revenue system even tho most creators I watch making most of their income via donations rather than ad revenue.

I’m just glad that a lot of people i associate with can see the obvious double standard and call it out as bullshit.

Guess it just depends on the audience. When I was deployed and the power went out for 4 hours we (about a dozen of us) had a several hour long debate on who the most talented porn star was. For some that’s not a weird conversation, for others… Yea they probably think we’re insane.

It’s also possible that they can apply for asylum in another country. Yea that’s gonna cost money and probably time they don’t have but it’d worth a try imo.

And it’s fucking hilarious to me that a double standard has appeared.

“But he has autism so it’s ok.”… Meanwhile any other random person with autism who does something wrong (even tho they may not understand or even know what they’re doing) is dragged through mud and hit with “it’s not an excuse!”

The same guy who has toddler level temper tantrums when people call him out for being a man child.

You’d think they’d qualify for witness protection…
