savoury pastries aren’t that strange of a breakfast in my mind, the point of breakfast is to frontload some energy to get you properly awake and going until lunch.
especially if you use whole-grain toast it should be a decent breakfast, then you get some instant energy from the sugar and some long-lasting energy from the carbs and fibre slowing it down.
