Hmm it’s too late to order delivery, let’s see what we have in the cabinet. Some ramen, chips, oh some beans from 13 years ago.

    Rockstar: that’ll be $50

If I don’t care about stories and I just want to play a game with fun gameplay, is this for me?

It’s a good game. Horseback riding. Lassoing people. Slow mo aiming power. Huge rockstar size map. Mini games.

If I haven’t played either RDR game, should I start here or play 2 first? It seems like 2 might be a better game and I don’t have to worry too much about knowing the story from the first one?

You will appreciate the story of 2 a lot more if you have played 1. They closely tie together.

Also, RDR1 is a spectacular game. 2 is better and worse in various ways. 1 is more video-gamey; 2 is more simulation.

That said, if you’re not all that interested in 1, 2 is just fine on its own!

Definitely give the first a shot as it may not be so easy to go back after playing the second. Plus UNDEAD NIGHTMARE is legit a good time. Really wish Rockstar had kept up with DLC at least so we could get a GTA Undead Nightmare.
