I like Kingpin as an anti-hero almost as much as I like him as a villain. But I do think they emphasize “He’s a crazy Big Dude” in comics that want to play up the fantasy angle of Marvel, while he tends to just be “Businessman/Crime boss who can trade a few punches” in the more street-level story arcs.

I like to think Daredevil and him go all out on eachother. While Spidey pulls his punches so much it makes Kingpin believe he’s tougher than he is.
I mean the version of him in this pic was strong enough to straight up kill Spidey. It just varies from story to story
