Man people in here being pedantic. It’s like he said “PlayStation” and people saying “well that’s actually a PS3, not a PS1”. Xbox is generic enough it can mean the OG, 360, One, Series S/X.
Edit: looks like the original title was more specific but the OP since edited it to be more generic.
The original post had a bunch more detail in the description making a big deal about
“this is the OG Xbox, not xbox 360 or Xbox one, this the OG, it was around before some people on Lemmy were even born.”
The person got very specific about their details, and were wrong. The person has since edited their mistake out.
The title was “original Xbox aka cat warmer” when the “pedantic” comments were made.

‘Original’ in this case meaning first of its kind. The Xbox pictured is not the original Xbox, its the 3rd generation Xbox, the “Xbox One”. The original Xbox is the black one pictured in the other comments, and the Wikipedia article I linked: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox#Consoles
The reason people were pointing this out is because the post first stated something along the lines of:

…Either this post is bait or you’re vastly misguided, because that is an Xbox One
