With society falling apart all around us, then you turn into Church and see the same vice and evil coming in from the outside, you really feel the need to pray for Jesus to come back soon.
Thankfully my regular church is pretty good and led by those who are doing their best to understand the Bible from an exegetical way. But the evil ones claiming to be a part of us get all of the attention anyway. It shows how broken and fallen the world is. Sin creeps in at all angles and even contaminates our very souls, the one who hates it the most.
But it also shows that Christ is the only one we can depend on- not these temporary banal material things of this corrupt earth.
Pretty much everyone you entrust with enough power.
Maybe if we look deeper past all the leaders we’ll see sincere Believers. Do you think?
