I was there for 12 years! Not that it’s a competition. It was a very weird transition at first.

Same. It was actually a big enough change to routine that it took a few weeks to stop automatically opening Reddit.

I moved the lemmy icon to where reddit was on my browser’s top bar. That helped a lot.

Hol up, you were using the reddit app / website and still left? Good on you! For most of us clicking on our reddit browsers simply brought up nothing so the routine was quickly broken (removed RIF).

Used old.reddit and Bacon Reader if not at a PC. Been there long enough for this to be the last straw, for real this time.

I was exclusively an old.reddit user. Spez’s incredible arrogance and utter contempt for the users meant I had no other choice than to leave.

11 years and 3 days with well over 650k karma, before The Wipe for me. Power deleted all posts and comments.

Have you checked to see if Reddit un-deleted them? I’ve heard a few cases of people mass deleting their posts/comments, only for them to reappear a few days later
