For some images, there is dialog, so the test could be transferred directly (Manga, comic books, etc). But many many images don’t have any text at all, and often only one character.
I think there’s probably some version of ‘the male gaze’ that could be avoided. But maybe someone has a more canonical answer?

“Images” is too broad of a concept. Like what that judge said… “I’ll know porn when I see it.”
Beyond that, as an is using an attractive woman to sell makeup gonna fail? What if it’s just a totally bland photo of a face, just an attractive one?
My landscape photography definitely shows signs of male bias, but I probably shouldn’t be naked in them.
