My laptop is not turning on, and there is absolutely no signs of life. No lights, no fans, no heat, NOTHING!
What was I doing before the problem: It was just a usual day. I used the laptop to do some office work, I shut it down (I think it had a Windows update with it that day), didn’t use it for a day after that, and now it wouldn’t turn on when I needed it.
Things I did to fix the problem:
- Removing the battery and the CMOS for 2 days and reseating doesn’t do it. Some guides even said to press the power button (without both or either batteries) or the reset button at the back of the laptop (tried with and without both or either batteries). All of them didn’t work.
- I checked if it was even receiving power in the first place, by:

- Letting the laptop plugged in for an hour to see if it gets warm. It was colder than my girlfriend.

I’ve tried everything I can. I’m left to think it’s a motherboard problem and I’m gonna have to let this be fixed by a technician.
Is there nothing more I can do?
Please help.
Have you tried powering it on with the battery removed and it plugged in?
I did. Still nothing.
