This is a good point, we should ask some average North Koreans directly, that way we get a better balance of viewpoints. Maybe we can catch some on a vacation abroad or something.
Why are the only people we hear expressing their opinions freely defectors? Why aren’t we hearing conflicting opinions from people in the country freely accessing the internet? Also, why is it “defectors”? Why not regular immigrants?
