Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to play for Portugal in their opening World Cup game despite his red card against the Republic of Ireland.

Christiano Ronaldo elbowed an Irish player during Irelands win over Portugal, earning himself a red card and an automatic ban.

In an unprecedented move, FIFA lifted the ban allowing him to play.

This is not even mildly infuriating. This is total bullshit. Fifa is a bunch of greedy dick heads. No doubt there were bribes involved.
