JFC Jeffries is actively harmful to the Democratic party. He brings nothing of value to the position and his association and role as one of its mouthpieces drags down the party image for people actually trying to fight for democracy.
My conspiracy thoughts tell me he is there to drive people away from the democrat party.
The Democratic Party leadership works in tandem with Republicans for the same objectives, while at the same time acting as a honeypot to capture and neutralize progressive candidates and policies.

What a quagmire this pardon stuff is. Think he will pardon the entire executive branch and anyone who ever tangentially worked for him on his way out?
Not if he knows that, if they accept a general pardon, they can then be compelled to testify instead of pleading the Fifth.
Also, giving out pardons for free will lower the going rate for the ones that he sells.
