Holy shit he is such a breath of fresh air after Trudeau. I’m not a fan of all of his policies or even the LPC in general, but it is incredible having a leader willing to explore opportunities and take risks for the greater good of the nation, both present and future. He knows the winds are changing and he wants to make sure Canada is in a favourable position when the dust settles. Seeking new allies and trade deals is 100% the right move right now, and advertising Canada as a sane and stable alternative to the US is smart.

His leadership review is at the end of January. He’s expected to continue just fine, but having a perpetual loser leading the Conservatives into the ground is a win for me 🤷

My main concern is that this is what a lot of people (myself included) thought about Trump sticking around. We need to remain on guard no matter how awful PP is, because you just never know how low the electorate will go.

We would be speaking American and buying white New Balances and khaki shorts by now if Governor Poilievre were in charge.

I haven’t been tracking him much but my parents don’t like him which is a good sign at least
