There is nothing the Deck can’t do. It has weaker hardware, but you can game on it just fine. I have mine plugged into a projector, for watching movies or playing games.

Don’t get me wrong, Deck is an amazing thing and I am happy it exists, and if I ever get some spare money, I’m buying myself one. But a laptop will always be stronger, and that’s a significant difference.
You can buy a USB dock and plug every peripheral into the Deck.
