I’m here to start a flame war and say Debian is old and gross and Fedora is clearly the way forward. And fuck it while were here, dont use the regular Fedora workstation, use the KDE spin, GNOME bad!
Debian is fast and reliable for 99.9% of the tasks I require a computer for. It’s always a joy that it just works and no profit motivated company is exploiting my relationship with it. I use Arch for tinkering and gaming, but it is less of a joy to use and more of an adventure.
I will never use Fedora as I endeavour not use American software (except for Steam).
Linux people are polite enough to not react when I tell them I use Ubuntu.
Windows people think I am a geeky nerd that knows how to code when I tell them I use Ubuntu.
If you’ve been enjoying Ubuntu so far I randomly want to recommend Debian to you. ☺️
