I know many people who chose to enlist or go to officer school. Every single one of them is a huge piece of shit that gets off on the thought of hurting others.
I haven’t spoken to him recently, and I no longer use Facebook which was the way I spoke to him in the past, but the only military person going for office school I was friends with was a boom operator on a refueling aircraft. Maybe that’s why I never experienced any bloodlust from him. Mostly if we discussed his service it was about the boom, about physical training he has to do anyway, etc.
