Content Warning: a lot of this stuff is obviously NSFL
Don’t go through this footage if you’re not fully prepared to see things you may never be able to unsee.
It includes:

In a news media environment that doesn’t want us to know/remember that a genocide is even happening in the first place, archives like this will preserve the record for future generations and ensure that the victims of this slaughter are not erased from history.
What trajedy, i hate to see it, i know its happening, and yet i cant help but carry on with my day to day, compelled to work, so i can keep the house and food and safety of myself. Its an immense guilt. Ive thought about quiting my job and liquidating my stocks, and unbanking - starving the economic war machine of at least my self, and put me on a path that only the ones who commit can follow down - but then i thought about the reality of then being homeless, insuranceless, etc in the us, and its ever growing political instability - and i just cant choose that, and its aweful that i have to make that choice at all, and its a trajedy im not selfless enough to meaningfully help beyond just the invisible “thoughts and prayers”
If in 50 years im asked what i was doing during this time, im sure to dissapoint and be viewed as an enabler of these horrors
I dont like how that makes me feel, and i think its important that im uncomfortable, i hope it spurs change in myself - which then hopefully leads to change in the world
Realistically, what are your options? Protesting and being pepper sprayed, locked-up and fired from your job. That does not make their suffering any more endurable and it certainly won’t end it.
In my book, your behavior is morally at least neutral.
Yeah like wtf is anyone supposed to do? Just take care of yourself and if you happen to be in a position of power to do something then by all means you can do whatever you want… but take care of yourself
Yeah like wtf is anyone supposed to do?
There are a lot of things that people can do and to make a change is easier than people believe. Something as simple as a million of people boycotting corporations and not using their services for a week would create a precedent so big and a chain reaction that could affect the entire economy. Governments and people in power spend billions to keep the system rigged as it is, every single little thing you do to make things better makes it harder for scum to keep on with their evil schemes.
Getting a million people coordinated to do something in this world of maximum apathy is a huge feat, not easy
How do we avoid being the Good Germans, who kept on baking while down the road they fed people to the ovens?
At what point does morality not only allow, but demand, we use violence against those enabling this?
i think its important that im uncomfortable
+1 on that
For people that had been following the conflict and the injustices done to the people of Palestine, it was really surprising to see the crowd supporting Israel lose control of the narrative after october 7.
It was amazing how so many bottom up content creators were able to overrun the people at the top. I’m worried they will be able to get the cat into the bag again.
For example I did my part on Reddit, but with the recent overhaul there I’m out. Of course the take over of tiktok by Ellison is legendary, but there will always be alternatives as long as the whole internet hasn’t been turned into a draconian web of surveillance.
If in 50 years im asked what i was doing during this time, im sure to dissapoint and be viewed as an enabler of these horrors
The people who say that shit are the same kind who would say all Germans were nazis. That’s generally not considered a couth opinion and is rarely tolerated
The Japanese Americans sitting in internment camps weren’t responsible for the Nanjing Massacre or Unit 731.
You’re not personally responsible for what Israel is doing to Palestine and Lebanon, or even for what the US did in Iran. There’s nothing you can do to stop it, beyond voting.
I’ll amend what I said. If you’re an eligible voter and you either voted for trump and congressional republicans, or chose not to vote against them, then you share partial responsibility. Otherwise, you’re just as frustrated, hopeless, and powerless as the rest of us. That’s not a moral failing.
I was thinking earlier this year, that it is immoral to pay taxes right now. The only thing that money goes towards is causing strife elsewhere. We have to take out loans to do anything useful or productive domestically.
Is it even possible to organise online then irl to get big enough and not be ignored?
This is the Palestinian Holocaust. Denial should be just as strongly criticised as the Jewish Holocaust.
I’m a-okay with knowing the high level details and not seeing the photos/videos, but thank you.
Yeah, I’m in a similar position. I’ve already seen enough gore for one lifetime. I appreciate those who still have the emotional fortitude to go through this stuff and tell us what we need to know, it’s just not something I can do right now.
Not looking at this, but I hope things come to and end soon and those responsible are brought to justice.
There’s torrents for all the data hoarders who want to help out.
Thanks for sharing. That’s horrifying, but important to see, understand, and preserve. The understanding that through no fault of their own, children, their parents, their friends, and family could be violently and inhumanely murdered on an industrial scale and every place they knew reduced to rubble is dread inducing and just too cruel for the empathy center of my brain to allow, even when my eyes, ears, and understanding tell me it’s true. It’s particularly disturbing when we look at history and see that this is not exactly an isolated or rare occurrence.
There’s also genocide.live
That’s a perverse choice of URL.
how so?
intentions aside, think about how messed up that sounds?
Isn’t that the entire point what with the world watching the genocide live in general and refusing to do jackshit about it?
That’s insane and sickening to the core, but the URL I was referring to sounds like “Netflix for genocide fans”
That’s Israeli surveillance eg. Corsight AI, Palantir etc
Off topic, but this is the first time i read NSFL and lol
Really? Its pretty common. Less common than nsfw, but still. Guess you’re one of today’s lucky ten thousand.
r/eyebleach was a great place to go after stumbling on a nsfl post. I wonder if there is a Lemmy equivalent… Gonna go check.
Found a few communities, most only have a few posts, this one has the most at 32.
Is it a new website? It doesn’t load for me. Probably my DNS won’t let me in.
Loads for me.
Located in Germany
Does this site contain any other war tragedies or is it just Gaza?
“Just”
Fair, but the question still stands.
Edit: it looks like my client posted this as a top level comment, instead of the comment I was replying to. I’ve reposted it in the correct place because it looks really bad without context.
I don’t think anyone is saying there is good guys, I think it’s just really fucking evil guys, bad guys, and thousands of civilians targeted for torture and murder.

Mmm ya that would go well, clearly each and every one of the 10M people who live there deserve to die! ESPECIALLY the children, they know what they did.
Well the Israeli government used that same logic when it bombed and starved Palestinian children
Someone else thought the same.
And we all know how that went.

It says “Israel exposed” but lists nothing from HAMAS, we need accountability for all involved. Nothing from prior to 2024
Shut up you twit. This is a genocide, it needs to be documented and the perpetrators held accountable.
What happens of hamas is a seperate matter, it does not detract away from a genocide.
Hamas massacred villages. That does matter.
It seems what you want is a site you can bookmark and get a daily dose of your two minutes hate. Since you’re probably not aware that’s something they did in George Orwell’s 1984 to keep the population under control.
Understanding different perspectives is what’s necessary to achieve peace. Constantly keeping you hateful is how they get you to support an endless war.
It’s a bit rich calling settler outposts “villages.” As if to imply that they were just peacefully living their lives and didn’t kick out the previous occupants or that these settlers don’t continuously assault, harass, rape, maim, and murder Palestinians.
They didn’t actually say it’s the Israeli settler outposts that HAMAS is attacking.
Who else would they attack? Also, they didn’t provide any source, so we’re kinda just taking them at their word that Hamas “massacred villages.” Which, given how often Israeli and Western media and other genocide proponents outright lie about these things, I’m very skeptical.
I’m also very skeptical. I just didn’t want us to put words in their mouth, because people often do it in bad faith and I hate it.
It’s very difficult to get unbiased view of what’s happening on the ground for us far away.
But in other wars in history, after the dust had settled, it turned out there were cases where insurgents had raided local villages and blamed it on the invading force. I don’t know when the dust will settle on this one, but afterwards I suspect we’ll find there were no good guys.
These things are not mutually exclusive. A crime against humanity has been committed and those responsible must be held accountable.
Imo the things Hamas did over the years, which also hurt a lot of innocent people, where at worst trying to commit genocide on the Israelis. You are free to start a list where Hamas is exposed.
Unlike Hamas, the government of Israel is succesful in systematically displacing and murdereing Palestinians in Gaza and is allowing Israeli citizens to do the same in the West Bank while the population is supporting that. Ergo, Israel is committing a genocide. The intention of the website seems to be to collect evidence of that. They do need to do what “we need”, they are free to do what they need (= evidence on what Israel does). If this ever ends in front of a judge ‘but they did x’ will not be a valid argument for killing innocent people on a close to industrial scale.
Your response is equivalent to “all lives matter” and says one of two things:
- You’re misinformed and truly believe what you’re saying.
- You’re a bad actor intentionally attempting to distract from systemic genocide.
Which is it?
What do you think “accountability” should look like for someone who violently escapes from a concentration camp?
Why would it list anything about hamas? Hamas is constantly covered by mainstream media. It’s literally classified as a terrorist organization. Everybody knows it’s bad.
This is about covering the other side - the one that is not covered by mainstream media. Also, many of hamas’ crimes are just Israel’s crimes anyway. Israel has been funding and supplying hamas for decades, probably in order to have an excuse for the genocide in Palestine.
Genocide apologist.
It says “Israel exposed” but lists nothing from HAMAS
Exactly, it show war crimes perpetrated by israel government. If you want to see the war crimes done by Hamas it shouldn’t be too hard to find these.
Both sidesing a genocide
The issue is the families of the people massacred by Hamas don’t want their dead family members being published everywhere. Imagine seeing the dismembered corpse of a loved one plastered all over the internet. So those images don’t get broadcast very much.
Hamas and Iran don’t have any sense of respect for people that have been killed and don’t care about the impact on family members having photos of their corpses used for propaganda. Also it’s usually Hamas that chooses where military engagements will happen so are always ready to record everything.
Psychopaths always have an advantage when creating propaganda. They’re willing to lie and don’t care about people, not even their own people.
