I doubt this will take off like, say, GlassDoor, but if it catches on, could be an interesting resource to make oneself feel better. Orders of magnitude more data are needed for this to be useful.

    Not remotely true. Having a job does not remove you from the job market. If I accept an offer for my 5th most desired position and a month later receive an offer for my 1st, I am well within my rights, means, and desire to just switch again.

      So then isn’t the reverse also true? Just because the company has filled the position doesn’t mean they can’t change their mind? So they don’t need to tell you?

        The ball’s still in their court. They are welcome to change their mind, but they should conclude the immediate interaction. A “we have filled the position at this time. We’ll be in touch if anything changes.” message would be sufficient and easy to automate. They just don’t for … reasons.
