    The increase in acceleration is something theyve noticed since 2013, as reported in the article (of about .35 per year instead of .2). There was also an unusual increase in 2023 and 2024.

    These are all important things scientists should be measuring and reporting on, even if it seems obvious by random lemmy user looking at a graph (graph that was made by scientists measuring and reporting on their observations).
