Unhook should provide more personal control of experiences within Youtube. If I must watch something controversial like discussions about opposition to AI, I use Freetube so that I don’t get bombarded with unnecessary suggestions.
That Unhook sounded interesting, so I turned off my current YouTube add-on (“Hide shorts for Youtube™”) and uhhh, the Unhook literally did nothing but arranged some things around lol. Not for me, the shorts and all were still there. But cool idea I guess.
It works where uBlock is otherwise being cockblocked from working certain parts. I generally use Unhook to get rid of the comments and live chat section, besides changing my location to a non-Western country.
