Finished Splatoon Raiders! Well, at least saw the credits.

I was wrong about the map again, there was one more map reveal before we got to the final level. Not to mention that the final level wasn’t a single level, it had it’s own mini-world map with a few levels, which got lengthier and more difficult as we reach closer to the final boss. Finally cleared all that though! There are a few post-game dungeons, and they say you’ll get something if you complete all of them, so at least there is one more story moment.

Levels have “normal” mode, and during the game you unlock “hard” mode for completed dungeons, which give you different rewards. After finishing the game, “Very hard” mode is also unlocked for all levels.

Not sure if I’ll do the very hard versions, but at least going to clear main post-game dungeons. I am a bit underleveld for that, so clearing the unfinished hard levels. This also gives me the chance to upgrade my last tank (Tactics!) completely, as well as raise my bonding level with last member (Shiver!) to max.

Overall opinion, the game is a lot of fun. The gameplay loop doesn’t change from the start (there is a constant progression though, regularly unlocking new stuff), so if you don’t like it, you don’t need to keep playing, the game is probably not for you.

Played a bit of Hogwarts Legacy. No significant update here. Didn’t play Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age or Fire Emblem Three Houses as I wanted to focus on Splatoon Raiders.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

Hard to say, it for sure rather deserve it lowish reviews. The game has 6 story path you could play and even more mission. I played through one story and that’s enough for me. I would say it was alright for a bit but get more boring the longer you play.

It’s really repetetive doing always the same organisations phase and attacking different region. I had a bit fun for a while, but it’s nothing i would do longer. Took me about 20 hours. It start with bad KI, that just wait to get attack and than charge attacking, which is extremly simple. Map design doesn’t give me much. These maps doesn’t change how you play at all. And outside of battle the game would improve a lot with a lot changes that make equip armer easier to managing quest faster.

Wouldn’t recommend it to be honest, there are a lot better tactical rpgs out there. But was nice to try what this series is about.
