Yes KOReader, thank you. Kindle is (was) super easy to jailbreak, and I did it specifically for that program. I used to hate the default program. Hardly any customizations and ran horribly.
I have a Kobo Clara 2E with me and use KOReader on it as well. I have an Xteink X4 Pro and an X3 coming. Planning to flash Crosspoint, a community firmware, the second I get it in my hands. Should be a nice setup hopefully.
I hadn’t heard of crosspoint. Looking at development, it seems like they add a lot every month. I like that. Amazing what a group of determined users can do to improve upon a thing companies should’ve done in the first place…
Exactly… I’ve been following their development for a while and just can’t see myself using the stock software on that device. That said, I have to appreciate Xteink regardless because they ship unlocked devices and their default software also doesn’t have any kind of forced login, unlike Kobo and Kindle. I might make an ereader in the future though, would be nice
Yeah I’m just going to a different hobby. I don’t need to take up arms and fight against Microslop, I’ll just read my ereader with my drm free epubs.
Kobo reader on my kindle was a move I definitely don’t regret.
KOReader I’m guessing? Awesome piece of software
