Steam (i.e. the gas form of water) comes from boiling water and is mostly invisible, the clouds of vapour you see in the shower aren’t “steam”. I know people say that anyway, it’s not the worst thing ever, but some people might be interested to learn there’s a difference.
Why are you so down voted? People should remember this from high school. If you have steam in your shower youll be in hospital haha. You get water vapour in a shower.
Now I cant take this article seriously because the author hasn’t understood the difference. Maybe its anecdotal but ive taken my phone into the shower for youTube since they started being ip68
Unless you shower in boiling water there won’t be any steam.

Water starts evaporating LONG before the boiling point.
Sure does, and that produces water vapour, not steam.
Lol what the actual fuck

OK fair and I learned something today. But I think you’ll even admit that’s exceptionally pedantic…
Exceptionally pedantic in general perhaps, but for me the pedantry was unexceptional.
Hey everyone!! We got Mr. Big Brain over here. He’s positively bored with our stupidity!
Oh Jesus.

I hope he hasn’t read my posts, he’ll judge me negatively and then I’ll feel bad!
Dude leave some pussy for the rest of us

I think it’s because I was too snarky and people typically refer to the water vapour in the shower as “steam”.
It ain’t easy being… steamy?

It doesn’t have to be actually boiling to be steam.
