It’s just gone! I had some good conversations going too :(

Sure I may have picked it partially because the name was cool and partially because I needed to correct someone who was wrong about solar panels while first checking out Lemmy, but they were cool people doing good work and I miss em. The best kind of nerds. Fingers crossed for an eventual return, otherwise RIP.

Actually looks like all of f-hub is down, anyone know what’s up? And/or if there’s a way to see my post history there?

e: here’s an update from poVoq, if anyone’s got a hot tip on how to see my posts there that’s great but both my concern and curiosity have been alleviated. Thanks :)

e x2: got help with finding my old posts too. All questions answered, you guys rock

AFAIU https://slrpnk.net is hosted on unique, solar-powered hardware and there was something challenging about its physical location, too.

And short downtimes were to be expected anyhow.

But this is clearly something else; I read the admin’s explanation, and going to the site returns this:

This website is currently offline due to an hardware issue that can’t be resolved quickly.

It is possible that it will only be restored in December 2026. Sorry.
