Finished Pikmin 1.
I took a day more than a guide and had to replay couple of days (including the last one) multiple times.
Overall, I love Pikmin and the idea of the game, but I didn’t enjoy the actual game too much, mainly because time limits in games always give me a bit of anxiety, and I had to follow a guide and keep worrying about making sure I am not taking too much time, instead of just enjoying the game.
I think I would try to play Pikmin 2 without guide, and if I fail, I fail. Will try to keep an eye on the limit, but just play as I can. Of course it’s possible I change my mind when I actually start it, but I think playing that way will be more enjoyable.
Played more God of War: Ragnarok.
Can’t say much without spoiling the game, but with Zelda coming out at the end of next week, will try to finish it over the weekend.
Started Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?.
It’s a side-scrolling platformer in the world of Disgaea. Played it a little bit but I am not sure about it yet, will need to play some more to make up my mind.
What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

I took a chance on Orbitals from the public library and have had a blast with my oldest as my co-pilot. My wife is also interest in watching it, too. I can see how this is perfect for net play; split screen is acceptable but limiting. My biggest complaint is the camera controls. Older gamers like me need flight simulator y-axis options.
I almost convinced myself to give up my crusade against game-key cards with Persona 3 Reload hitting a new physical low. Luckily (?), all the in-person store I went to didn’t have it in stock.
Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent just released a new character that is the beginning of a new power level of characters (according to those watching the slightly more advanced Japanese releases). I managed to Gatcha pull her and threw her level 1 self into a level 100+ team with no downsides. Next smattering of out of control characters is slated for December and includes a FFX crossover including Jecht, Tidus, and Rikku.
In tabletop news, I found a physical copy of Can’t Stop (1980). It’s such easy fun! I also read through all of Twilight Sword, a Zelda/hope spreading RPG. I can’t wait to set up a play session for that one!
Have you played other similar co-op games like, It Takes Two, or Split Fiction etc? Wondering if the camera is similar or feel more limiting.
Heh, unfortunately, I don’t think GKC are going anywhere. Most people don’t care about them and it doesn’t effect the sales much.
In tabletop, I just ordered the expansion packs of Dungeon Mayhem and Tic Tac KO. I also, almost ordered Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion but realised it might be too much for the kids.
Gloomhaven is called a lifestyle game: if it is the only board game you and your group are going to play, it is a good buy.
I am only interested in it cause I want to play a tabletop RPG without being able to DM. And since I am the most DM worthy person in the group, we need a non-DM tabletop RPG 😀
