    There are. I moved from a third world country to a rich country without problems. I have now a safe job and I contribute back to society. No need to risk my life in a boat.

      I wouldn’t say I did it with no problems but you can certainly do it, as long as you have everything align for you and you have what ever the people in power want 🙂

      I lucked out but many of my friends have no such opertunity.

        These people in power are NOW the people in charge of making the country where you live better. Its not they vs us.

        I sometimes donate to my home country and/or promote touristic places fromy my country. What do you do to help people from your home country, other than expecting others to open easier immigration routes?

          And those people where also the same people that exploited where I come from.

          It’s honestly pretty ironic that the home of the Dutch is where I ran away too.

          On my end I do what ever I can, mostly education, I’m currently working on mentoring contacts back home in technical skills to hopefully give them a leg up ⁠_⁠
