Everyone knows this isn’t suicide but they are so brazen because there are no consequences. What do we need to do so that there are?
Probably something illegal that would end with consequences on us instead.

I think they’re referring to the friend making the allegation. Personally, I wouldn’t put it past a huge multinational that stood to lose lucrative contracts.
He could have been a troll on the internet, for example.
