Still playing Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs. I am very close to the end now.
Played a very tiny bit of Neon Chrome, just a couple of runs. Focusing mainly on Regalia, this is just when I want a break from turn-based.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?
In light of the imminent shutdown of the 3DS and Wii U’s online services, I’ve been revisiting Kirby Battle Royale and Mario Tennis Open over the last few days - as relatively obscure spinoffs with regional matchmaking on a decade-old system, it’s been nigh impossible to find an online match in them for years, but with the shutdown causing people to revisit these old titles one last time, it’s actually been possible to find matches again, and it’s been pretty darn fun.
Rise of the ronin.
How are you enjoying it? I have heard mixed things about it.
Sparks of Hope: Reached World 5, game might be slowly catching up to my hair triggers. Slowly.
Arkham Knight New Game+ is beaten. That was fast, it’s crazy how much shorter the game is when you don’t have to do over 200 tiny Riddler things. I’m now doing the extra stories and a lot of them are way too short. They go through all the effort of making characters like Harley Quinn and Red Hood playable just to let you play a 30 minute set of challenges? The Batgirl episode was the only story so far that actually had meat to it. And from what I’ve seen, the general challenges no longer have challenges for every character on every map anymore. All maps are character-specific. The predator maps have always been my favorite part of postgame…
Yeah, that NG+ took you very little time. How many hours did it take, if they are recorded anywhere?
I just got Cult of the Lamb so this is what i am playing the last couple of days. The game is really fun and I really like how they mixed the city building aspect.
Minecraft
Viva la Minecraft!
Do you play sandbox or survival? And any mods etc?
Survival on a server made with friends! No mods, I’m currently diving into the world of mobfarms/XP farms after building lots of things (houses, temples and castles)
Playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps!
I commented about the first game on my previous post, and while I did have a good time with it there were some pretty annoying flaws as well.
The second game fixes most of my complaints - platforming feels better, plus you get some of the relevant movement skills earlier which also helps improve the experience when exploring. Combat is pretty decent this time, and the game also includes plenty of customization with a lot of attack and passive skills for you to choose from.
I get that this comes at a cost of the game feeling a bit less “unique”, but I’m definitely having more fun with one.
That’s an interesting take. Getting me excited to finally give them a go. I’ll try to play them soon(ish). Well, at least the first one. Maybe.
