Sign and distribute pub keys locally. Probably should have clarified. Also, paid IMAP/SMTP makes Proton a freemium service. Thought I should just underline that.
Umm, you absolutely can. Use gpg, encrypt the txt, copy the encrypted text into the email. EZPZ.
