Meloni heads Italy’s most rightwing government since the second world war. Italy’s criminal code punishes with a fine ranging from €1,000 to €5,000 anyone who “publicly defames the republic”, which includes the government, parliament, the courts and the army.

Yeah, you can’t even say that Mussolini has been the best politician in Italy in the last 50 years without being called a fascist. And the little detail that her party is the successor of a neo-fascist party created by Mussolini’s followers.
Man what kind of world is it when you can’t idolize Hitler and Mussolini and want to oppress/exterminate groups of people without being called fascist?
