“I want things for free” isn’t a good argument against copyrights. Without copyrights any random asshole can sell copies without giving money to the creators.
Intellectual Property laws are an abomination but this meme is a very young child’s understanding of the issue.
But I do want things for free tbh
I’m more concerned with protecting smaller artists and creators from big businesses that leech ideas
What about art copyright?
What we need instead of copyright law is anti-plagiarism law. Make it a crime to claim you created something you didn’t. With current copyright laws plagiarism is legal and politicians copy whole PDF theses and don’t get punished at all.
