    Hmm… That privacy policy goes against a lot of the reasons why I’m on Lemmy in the first place.

      That’s unfortunately part of using the ad network. If you pay for ad-free (or Ultra) the ad network code never even gets initialized and so all that stuff just goes away.

      Yeah, people really need to let go of their weird baseless brand loyalty. This is a different site, that works differently, no need to cling to a weird paid, locked in and possible bad privacy app environment.
