The US has commissioned entire offices devoted to ensuring striking an embassy doesn’t happen again. Millions are spent every year to update the (surprisingly ever-changing) locations of embassies around the world so they don’t make the same mistake in the future. Whatever the thought process was that “allowed” a strike then has been eliminated and then some.

More radical assholes than even Putin? I’m all about Putin’s shit getting kicked in, but Navalny and folks like him are not a solution we should explore. I’m sick of people glorifying both of those assholes. Defending Navalny is like defending solving your wasp problem with rabid badgers. I don’t want either in my home, and though the latter may solve the first, it’s going to create some much bigger problems
