Plane carrying a person accused of crimes against humanity: “Air traffic control ICC this is airplane ABC-123 requesting permission to enter airspace DEF heading 123”
A country that is a signatory to the ICC and obligated to act on an international arrest warrant for persons wanted to stand trial for crimes against humanity: “Permission denied, if you eneter this airspace you will be escorted to military base HIJ where you will be detained and escorted to the ICC to stand trail for crimes against humanity.”
Then you do exactly what you saif you would do. You ‘escort’ the plane with miltary planes, that have a progressive level of escalation which if taken to the most extreme could be getting shot down.
