It was great for music, and burning cds. I didn’t use it much back then though. On it much more nowadays, trying to scale it back again though. One reason I like it here lemmy reminds me more of a classic internet. I don’t online game much either but I like having the option to.

I’ve switched my joysticks a lot and the screw settings failed. So mine kinda have a frankenstien look to them. I drilled a small hole for a bolt and a nut with the cap to keep them together. Not the sleekest but it works. Cant use the joycon grip depending which ones you replace.

I believe you can let whomever your investor is to invest it in more less aggressive funds or stocks bonds. You might be able to freeze it as well and even the option to invest yourself. But you should call whomever handles it they can probably guide you a bit. But I agree it looks pretty bleek. I’m more concerned with the dollar crashing if we default on the debt. It might all be worthless anyhow.

It could be a problem as when we declared war on terror decades ago it is fairly vague and unclear on who or where could be invaded. Label them a terrorist org and boom justification to send US troops to Mexico. Given how the US government is now I am deeply concerned. I was against the war on terror then too, yes we got some bad guys but it still does not seem worth all the civilian deaths it takes. We would have needed permanent occupation in Afghanistan too to keep a democratic rule there. Once it ended to me it seems like it was kinda all for nothing.

I dont necessarily think in all cases its overpowering someone, its more making advances and the person is not saying no or unsure how to deflect their advances. Either gender can hold a position of power. Still rape does not really matter which gender is doing it to whom. No grey area consent must be clear.

Both my parents smoked in the 90’s and I never really thought about it until I was like 12, by then it was being banned in many more places. I thought cars smelled weird that didn’t reek of smoke. I also sometimes smelled of smoke and probably smelled more to people who were not around smokers. Being around smokers from 0 -18 knock on wood I haven’t yet had been diagnosed with anything. Second hand smoke everyday. I never took it up, as we know its not good for you. But I dont mind being around smokers, brings a sort of nostalgia for me the second hand smoke that is.
