imo you need to be able to execute an algorithm for it to be a programming language. not necessarily turing complete but html cant really execute stuff. if you include css as part of html, then it would be turing complete then. TeX is turing complete so it is a programming language.

They don’t own the mechanic of falling blocks. I play many tetris fan games and they just have to avoid tetrimino (a misspelling of tetromino) and the word tetris and the tetris song. They also have to avoid steam and other stores just in case the tetris company fights them.

This is something thats kinda impossible in a class that requires technology. A solution one of my professors came up with was having frequent handwritten tests worth less points.

Programming on a handwritten test is nothing new, but he also made us use gdb to debug a program written in assembly on paper… which did work better than I thought it would.

I program on pc. Programming on phone is pretty terrible, I have spent a decent amount of time doing this and you kinda need to accept that a lot of regular dev programs on termux don’t work. And you also have to accept using the terminal for everything
