I wouldn’t get my hopes up, this is still an isolated local case. Though it should be mentioned that they also lost a couple percent in the communal elections in the west two weeks ago.
Meanwhile the ruling coalition is doing everything in their power to be as incompetent and corrupt as possible to ensure more votes for the AfD in the next federal election.

It is, this is the far east of Germany where the AfD is usually much stronger. They lost 8% compared to the parliamentary election earlier this year.

I recently replayed IW and the overall looks just seem so much more… coherent? I guess? It’s hard to describe but in comparison the Remaster looks like it’s assets from different games merged into one.

These are the recommended system requirements. Not sure what they are doing behind the scenes but they are absolutely ridiculous for a game of this scope.

The management of the Deus Ex franchise has been bungled and set up for failure so many times. But this is definitely the most egregious one yet.

That may be true but it’s really not worth the effort if it comes with the loss of the original aesthetics and art direction IMO.
Having a car that has a non-functional AC is indefinitely worse than having one that was designed without one in the first place (I’ve got both).

I’m kinda waiting for all the DLCs to be released for my next playthrough. I’ve already spent hundreds of hours on the first one alone.

The weirdest thing to me is that the graphics settings don’t make much of a difference. There’s like a 20 FPS gain between “Ultra” and “Lowest” and I could barely tell which one it is just based on the visuals alone. How do Unreal devs mess up their optimization so consistently across many games? Surely the problem must be somewhat related to the engine itself.

It’s Unreal Engine 5, so the bad performance is included by default. I’ve played 4 UE5 titles in recent months and all of them ran terrible even though they were far from groundbreaking graphically.
Hell, I could play the gorgeous KCD2 on high settings at a buttery smooth 60FPS but apparently I need to set everything to the very lowest and down to 720p to get the same result on much worse looking Unreal games.

Holy fuck

That’s true of course. But they must be doing something right, because even their lower-priced models are pretty good. Last year I bought a 144Hz desktop monitor for a little more than 100€ and it’s been great so far.

Philips. I’ve had my last one for 15 years before it died and the picture still had better colors than my sister’s new ultra thin LG. Can’t say much about their newer models as I haven’t bought a new one yet, but I also use Philips monitors on my PC and I’m very happy with them.

Don’t forget “I’m not taking the vaccine because Bill Gates wants to implant a chip in my brain!”
