Checking our local House elections this morning and seeing quite a bit of red. Stein is going to have a rough time like Cooper did, trying to get anything done. Luckily it looks like Dems are winning Attorney General and Lt. Governor (the position Robinson was).

No relation, thankfully!

Probably the food. Fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, sweet tea. Hoo boy.

The Night House is a really good horror/thriller, I don’t recall it having any gore.

The Menu is phenomenal, but does have a bit of blood and gore.

I don’t think I saw anyone mention Get Out, a fantastic movie.

I’m not a big movie guy, but these were some of my faves (along with Evil Dead, which have been mentioned a ton already 🙂)

Every time I see this opinion being shared I just imagine a tiny, angry Tim Sweeney throwing a tantrum because Valve bad. Why? Because… Because I said so, okay?!

Obviously the substance of the post is important but I did do a double take at his name, remembering that yes, this is indeed Robert Reich, former US secretary of labor, father of Sam Reich, a silly little man who makes his cast play silly little games.

I was praying there’d be Dropout fans in the replies for this one!

Supposedly my mother’s maternal grandfather (so, my great-grandfather) wrestled a bear. Also supposedly, there is a statue somewhere in West Virginia to celebrate this fact.

I’ve done some surface level searching online for this but haven’t found anything. Cool to think about, though!

I’ve been playing since the last round of beta invites, and I love it. Everything’s pretty intuitive so far, and I find myself moving around more to give me those steps. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!

The big incident at my previous job was the (extremely incompetent) HR person accidentally sharing a spreadsheet of every employee’s salary. I was an hourly worker at the time and thought it was funny, but some of the senior engineers were pissed to find out how much more other engineers made. HR was not fired, instead she was put on a temporary paid leave.

Other incidents include:

• One of the owners’ vape exploded, forcing everyone to evacuate.
• VP of the company got caught buying escort services on the company credit card.
• Aforementioned owner (who was no longer an owner after the company was bought out) got fired shortly after a town hall zoom meeting, where he used a Trump/Pence background.
• The head of the NOC team had a stroke at work.
• COO “accidentally” revealed in front of everyone that one of the Project Managers had cancer. She sued, and they settled.
• COO verbally abused one of the senior managers over the phone during a big meeting. He sued, and they settled.

It was a pretty shitty company.

A few months ago I FINALLY organized my cluttered box of miscellaneous technology and cables into one of those plastic bin drawers with wheels. I now know what I have and can keep it all fairly organized. Found some stuff I could’ve thrown out, but this post just told me not to. So thanks!

Not sure if anyone has said this, but hold your breath and swallow three times. The last one can be a little tough, but it has worked for me I’d say 90% of the time.

I wish I could do this in real life. I’ve seen two in my city and they’re visually arresting.

I did this to my dad when he handed me his new phone to mess around with while he cooked. I took probably 30 selfies and he ended up printing a few and hanging them up on the wall at my parents’ house. So we both got a good laugh :)
