I’m aware, and just like how those other distros exist, these extra windows steps are for power users. Normie’s can just go through the normal windows installation process that doesn’t involve hassle.

If the argument is that windows sucks because you have to do a bunch of bullshit to get it semi functional, then the same could be said for something like arch Linux with its setup process and the constant tweaking.

Schools do need to cut screen time but that should be in the classroom, not the library where you go to do research on school projects or essays.
