What the hell’s up with yachts, anyway?
Beyond the status symboI don’t understand the selling point.
Worse, they fall to 83rd for life expectancy at age 65. That’s what really counts for most of us.
Optics.
Sooner or later someone will commit suicide while watching your show, no matter what you do. If that episode happens to contain a suicide scene, and somebody rightly or wrongly connects the dots, you want the disclaimer to be there.
To reprise a bit of schoolhouse wisdom,
whoever smelt it dealt it.
2 alarms, one on the iPad, one on the phone. Full volume, spaced 10 minutes apart.
Edit: these go off almost 2 hours before I have to leave, and I’m asleep 7-8 hours before they go off. My biggest difficulty in waking up on time is not going to bed with enough time to fall asleep for 8 hours.
I have a hard-stop alarm, set 9 hours before I have to wake up, to remind myself to get ready for bed. A full sleep cycle (including morning routine) is an 11-hour time investment for me.
Travel on the cheap while you’re still willing to put up with it.
Seriously. Save up a couple thousand dollars. Go see stuff.
Make sure you have enough in your emergency fund to get home if you screw it up.
Always shit on company time.
Weeeleeeee-bebldebeep Shhhhhhhhh WawaaaaaaaaaWawaaaaaaaaa
You think that’s hard?
Last year my dentist/denturist asked my what I wanted my teeth to look like!
It was unreal, trying to develop an aesthetic preference for teeth. It was actually quite eye-opening. I did find that I had a very strong opinion about it. I haven’t quite gotten to the end product, but I now know what I want.
I recommend photos, but also to be careful in explaining what you like about the photo. It’s easy to latch on to one aspect of a style, not realizing that an attempt to reproduce other aspects might end up completely ignoring what drew you to it in the first place.
This has been explained elsewhere.
Not if you value women participating in sports.
You want Trader Joe’s. That stuff is so hard that I often use a hot scoop to get it out. I’m OK with a slightly softer texture. Tillamook is my go-to brand. I’ve never found it to be absurdly soft, but it is easier to scoop than a Häagen-Dazs or TJ’s.
The classic is anything that separates you from the ground.
I’d add anything related to plumbing, electricity and roofing.
I came very close to solving the aging problem as you described. Ended up having to make huge changes in my thirties to avoid late admission to the 27 Club. Very happy I burned out of the scenes when I did.
Similar “dream” although, for me it was more just something I fell into for half a decade after highschool. I can’t imagine trying to keep up these days. I still know old producers and DJs. It’s not a stable way to age.
Lame title.
It just occurred to me how similar AI images are to dreams, always related to the prompt, but never quite how a conscious brain would imagine it. All the weird, illegible text, the grotesque bodies, etc. really do match up fairly well with unconsciousness.
Basically, yes. Started out that way, anyway.
I also work early, and a straight eight, so it just works better not to eat until I get home.
