I read the article. How do you think I got that information that was in the article? I understand what was going on. What I don’t understand is the average town of that size even needing 10. How about some reading comprehension, smart guy?

That I don’t know, other than we have a large aquifer under the county that serves basically just our county, that has a cap of clay over it. Supposedly we have some of the best tasting water in the country but it is very heavy.

But no, I said I haven’t gotten a water softener, because I live in a rental. But I’ve done the little hangy things, the blue pucks in the reservoir, even this damn device that works like a bidet for the toilet that shoots an amount of cleaner with every flush. Nothing works. A water softener likely would.

The shocking part is where it says that’s only 5X the cops for a town that size. Wtf? One or two should suffice in a town that small. We have a town here with just over a thousand, and they have no city cops at all.

Tell that to the hard water in my town. I’ve tried everything short of a water softener (rental) and basically all it does is delay the rings from one week to about 2 1/2.

Hey, it just straight up doesn’t exist in the Midwest outside of major cities, and then you’ve got so many options that are similar to what youve had, but not wildly different that it’s hard to choose. I was probably close to 30 before I tried Indian food.

Yeah, I try to tell them that very few of them are true “terrorists”. Many of the people who were suicide bombers were coerced by terrorists with threats against their families, or promised money to their family upon completion. I tell them how good most of the people were and would offer food to us from their own lunch, even knowing we had free food from the US govt. Many wanted to know more about America, and loved the music and movies.

Some of those people visibly softened their stance. Others would just “yeah but” to no end. Like dude, I was there. I experienced it. Those fox news people? They weren’t there, you weren’t there, and you’re arguing with me? 5 minutes ago you thanked me for my service, now you’re denying my experience there? Some you can reach, some you can’t.
