  • As soon as I found that three games weren’t going to work 100% on Linux, particularly Mint for example, then Linux was not going to be my choice.

Is that because your games need a rootkit to let you play, or is it an actual incompatibility? I’ve been running Bazzite at home for over a year now with minimal issues.

Linux may have some advantages and I like it that it is there for people to go to for whatever reason. I just hate it when there are people who’re going around just telling people what to use because they use it.

People recommend moving away from the company that abuses it’s users and is enshittifying it’s OS to the point it’s becoming slop. And I’m not a windows hater, I support it professionally and have for over a decade. But the writing is unfortunately on the wall, so finding ways to make your system work better for you is a good idea before Microsoft really fucks you over with a bad update that bricks your system.

  • Keyword in that is ‘old’ - new printers are shit, and Brother printers have been pretty bad in my experience as well. Most any new printers I’ve touched is just terrible.

But then again, I stan my old HP color LJ that I got for free from the early 2010s that I got when my employer went to a printer contract service and just dumped all the printers they currently had. That fucker runs like a champ and has let me put in after market toner carts without much complaint and 0 printing issues. Modern HP printers only belong on fire.

Explain how your “point” makes any sense or stands at all, outside of a 5 year old’s version of fairness?

How is it ‘fair’ to make poor people pay to cover up the fuckup of a multi trillion dollar company? One that doesn’t even pay its fair share in taxes. Is it ‘fair’ that the people making the fuckup keep their employees at starvation levels while they buy jewelry worth more than they’ll see in decades?

No? Then your point is meaningless when the fairness doesn’t go both ways. You can say your argument stands all day, but its as meaningless as telling me you can jump to the moon.
