Freedom of speech isn’t freedom from response. Some people have shitty opinions, and are too fragile to accept that people don’t like them or their opinions.

Sturgeon’s Law says that 90% of movies do indeed suck. And given how anyone can make a movie these days with their phones, that’s more likely to be accurate than ever before.

Even the worst practical effects look better long term than most CGI.

Why prove it at all?? An assertion from the OS should be good enough. Just have the OS ask once, and send that info when it has to as a general age range. A few different age ranges for kids/teens, an 18-21 group, and 21+ is all the info they really need at most.

If age verification has to be a thing, let the user supply it at install/profile creation time, and just leave it at that.

You pick up a mushroom in the forest and take it home. If you have no information, do you eat it? If something tells you it’s safe do you eat it?

Wikipedia isn’t giving you advice, it’s giving you information. There is a big difference between me taking information and forming an opinion, versus being given an opinion by a system that is responding to a specific situation explained to it.

Also, people get in trouble for giving legal advice, artificial unintelligence('s companies) should as well.
